Gnome Spellblade
DPS — Melee DPSGnome Spellblades leverage their superior Intelligence to maximize the arcane half of the hybrid equation, producing spell-infused strikes that hit significantly harder per enchantment than any other race. Their analytical minds optimize the complex weaving of combat magic between melee attacks, finding the precise timing windows where a spell augment amplifies a strike's damage most effectively. This results in burst damage sequences that can rival pure casters during their peak windows, especially against targets vulnerable to magic-physical hybrid damage. The tradeoff is durability -- Gnome Spellblades must manage their positioning carefully to avoid the melee damage that their lighter frames struggle to absorb. In groups, they function as a high-output burst DPS who excels in fights with vulnerability windows, dealing devastating damage when buffs and timing align.
Small in stature but sharp in intellect, Gnomes are natural tinkers and scholars. Their keen minds give them an edge in the arcane arts, with higher base Intelligence than most races. They are resourceful and inventive, excelling in roles that reward cunning over brute strength.
Arcane warriors who channel raw magical energy through their weapons. Spellblades fuse swordplay with spellcasting, imbuing their strikes with elemental damage and shielding themselves with conjured barriers. Their offense-first approach trades survivability for explosive melee burst, making them glass cannons who reward aggressive, well-timed play.
